It was winter time in Mauritius. I felt a little bit cold at night, the pool water and the sea water were quite cold too. It was my first time to drink hot coffee and hot tea in a Club Med village bar.
I went alone. It took 10 hours to fly from Hong Kong to Mauritius. I watched movies
and
listened to my iPod 
in
the plane.
It was one and a half hour van
drive
from the airport to the La
Pointe aux
Canonniers Club Med village 
. The
reception GO Soma brought
me to my
single room 
.
This Club Med village was very different from the Asian Club Med villages. For example, the GMs were mainly Europeans, no powerwalk in the morning, night show started at 10 pm, all inclusive include bar drinks, very tall toilet bowl

buffet before dinner, no any PR GO (may be all GMs speak French or
Englilsh and all GOs speak both French and English).....
It was low season, we had breakfast and lunch in the beach restaurant, we had dinner in the main restaurant. In high season, all meals are taken in both main restaurant and beach restaurant. In breakfast time, GEs were preparing lunch, they set tables

trees, flowers 
, bbq in
the beach 
. GMs
always fed the cats 
in
the beach restaurant.
Every time when GMs
finished the breakfast, many birds ate the food left on the plates.
Every dinner was a big dinner, see the fruit

Every morning, GOs fished

I liked aqua gym, sailing

windsurfing

snorkeling

ski,

Boy's game, ping pong,

I got one medal in the Sports ceremony

Sports show was very impressive. GOs had sailing

the pool.
We had ski show

lunch.
GMs were mainly from France, some from Italy, Germany, Portugal, South Africa and Turkey. The GMs were very nice to me and I wanted to say "Thanks" to them here.

I did "departure" to Max, a little boy (I promised not to post his photo and name here) and Gerhard.
I was sorry that I could not say "goodbye" to Morne, Kay and the South Africa girls.
GOs were very nice, too. Actually Club Med GOs were always nice to GMs. I did not expect to meet any GO who I knew before in other villages. To my surprise, Judy and Jean Noel were there. They recognised me and I met them in Bintan sometime before.
